"Midwest University is one of North America’s largest professional development conferences focused solely on the AEC industry where attendees learn about new and emerging technologies, new features of Autodesk software, tools and techniques that keep building and infrastructure firms competitive. This two day event features breakout sessions taught by the region’s top instructors and Autodesk technical experts. The general sessions and networking opportunities allow you to share ideas and insights with your peers, network with experts in your field, and explore the latest trends and technologies. Hear firsthand where the industry is going from Autodesk, CTC, and other industry experts. Midwest-U will equip you with the knowledge, vision and strategy you need to keep your organization on the leading edge."
Our CEO, Shane Scranton, will be giving a keynote address about the state of virtual reality and the AEC industry on March 22 at 9:30am.
Additionally, our team will be teaching a class, Collaboration in VR: Using Revit + IrisVR Prospect to Enable Multiuser Virtual Reality Meetings. The class will showcase a streamlined workflow between Revit and Prospect that allows multiple users in different locations to simultaneously walk through a shared model in VR. Attendees will learn how to take their files from Revit to VR, BIM best practices for VR, as well as ways to create a compelling work session and narrative for visitors in your immersive walkthrough.
Our team will also have a booth - stop by and visit!
